Consistent rigidity

坚固性和一致性

A single Fine Alumina Fiber Rod is made by binding together 1,000 Alumina Fiber Filaments(diameter 10μm for red rods and 15μm for white rods).

Therefore, this structure maintains a consistent rigidity and there is virtually no fiber rod configurational change during the deburring process.

一根氧化铝纤维是→1,000条纤维丝一起构成(红色纤维丝和白色纤维丝的直径分别为10μm和15μm)。

因此,这种结构能够保证去毛刺过程中纤维坚固不变形,保持研磨的一致性

The abrasive grain is impregnated in nylon.
The nylon base gives it flexibility but low rigidity.

So there is rod configurational change in the deburring process.

磨粒在尼龙中浸渍而成。
尼龙基材给它灵活性,但低刚性。

在去毛刺过程中会变形软化。

The self-sharpening action of the cutting edge on the Alumina Fiber Rod tips and continuous cutting edges provides superior grinding performance.

Abrasive grain makes up only 30% weight; its self-sharpening action is weaker, resulting in lower grinding efficiency.

Due to less self- sharpening action, it’s easy to clog the tool.

For both dry and wet processing

Thanks to the high thermal resistance (approx. 150℃), the grinding performance is stable even in dry processing.

Thanks to superior water-resistance, there is no decrease in rigidity even wet processing, providing stable grinding performance.

得益于高耐热性(约150℃),在干磨时依旧性能稳定。
得益于卓越的耐水性,在湿磨时也不会降低磨料的刚性,可以提供稳定的磨削性能。

Due to the low thermal resistance (approx. 90℃), the heat generated in dry processing results in decreased rigidity and molten nylon on the workpiece.

Due to low water-resistance, rigidity and grinding performance is decreases.

由于低耐热性(大约90℃),在干磨时引起的热导致磨料软化和尼龙的融解。

由于耐水性差,磨削时会时磨料软化,磨削性能下降。

Use 使用方法

【Polishing Flat Surfaces】
  • Attach to a hand tool, and apply brush to work surface at approximately a 45 degree angle.
  • Apply as constant a load as possible, and keep the depth of cut to a minimum (under 1mm).
【Polishing Edges and Deburring Uneven Areas】
  • When polishing edges and deburring uneven areas, please work with lower revolutions and a lighter load. Also, please do not apply excessive pressure on the edges with the sides of the fiber rods.
【Bristle Length】
  • With usage over time, the overall length of the Fine Alumina Fiber rods (bristle length) may shorten, resulting in more grinding power but less easy to fit. Please adjust the grind and fit by decreasing the revolutions and load (depth of cut).
【Truing / Dressing】
  • Press the tip of the rotating brush against polishing paper stuck onto a board to adjust the form of the brush. Do the same for the dressing as well.
【Dry / Wet Processing】
  • The brush can be used for both dry and wet processing. Please use a dust collecting device to collect dust generated during dry processing.

【平面精磨和抛光】

手工使用工具抛光时应注意让刷子和工件表面保持45度夹角。
尽量使用自然力,并保持刷子和工件的角度,使氧化铝纤维始终保持研磨性能(在1mm以下)。

【不规则边缘的去毛刺和抛光】

当去除不规则边缘的毛刺和抛光时请降低工具的转速,并且应该减小力量。

【纤维刷长度】

随着使用时间的推移,氧化铝纤维细棒(毛长度)的缩短会导致磨削力的加大,磨削者的不适用。这时候应该降低转速和减小力量。

【修整】

可以用砂纸来对纤维刷进行整形和修整。

【干磨/湿磨】

纤维刷可以干磨或者湿磨。请使用集尘设备来收集在干磨时的粉尘。
